The TV adaptation of A Raisin in the Sun aired on ABC tonight and I LOVED it. I got to go to the play on Broadway and meet the cast and I really enjoyed it - even Diddy (shocking, but again his performance was pretty good).My question is - is this play still relevant? In short, my answer is YES. Everyone has a dream, but what happens when an entire culture is held back from ever getting the opportunity to achieve them? Clearly there's no such thing as an easy way out. Moving forward takes time, dedication, strength, HOPE, energy, and a clear vision. Sound familiar?
